It's true—we all hang on to pieces a little too long. Sometimes it’s nostalgia, sometimes it’s wishful thinking, and sometimes... it’s just hard to know what’s worth keeping. But editing your closet doesn’t have to be overwhelming. In fact, it can feel surprisingly refreshing.

I always recommend starting with: Does this reflect who I am now? If it doesn’t fit, doesn’t feel good, or hasn’t been worn in years, that’s a clue. Letting go of a piece doesn’t mean it wasn’t valuable—it just means its purpose has shifted. And maybe it’s time for someone else to fall in love with it.

At Peonies, we accept pieces that are clean, current, and in excellent condition. I’m happy to help assess what’s right for consignment—we’re not just looking for labels; we’re looking for quality and potential.

A cleanout can create space—not just physically, but emotionally. It’s the first step toward a wardrobe that actually works for you. And often, it's the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for your clothes.

I hope you’ll reach out to talk consignment. Let’s see what your closet might be ready to share!
